 The best sentences and phrases are the ones that you puzzle over after a month, wondering what they mean, and then suddenly recognize with a force that ensures that next month you will remember. 

Unumia tō rongoa. (Swallow your medicine)

Nāna i hī ake (That he fished up)

Ki te whāngai hoki i a mātou. (And fed us as well)
